Tips for Music Software
I ran across this newsletter from Tempo Music while looking for a how-to for getting the music stems for voices on the same staff to be seperated. (Many times, in SATB/keyboard notation such as a church hymnal the different voice parts will be indicated by the stems up for soprano (and tenor) and stems down (for alto and bass). In finale this is done using “layer”s. That much said, the above site has tips for other notation software as well.
