The Asheville Music School

This is just a shameless plug for the place that I teach piano lessons, The Asheville Music School. I’ve mentioned that in the “About Me” page I believe, but wanted to write a post about the school. The Asheville Music School has been around for over 10 years now at it’s location at 250 Charlotte Street, in Asheville, NC and although Anne Coombs is no longer the owner, (Paul Thorpe took over ownership a few years ago now), Anne still teaches guitar at the school. It’s sometimes amazing to me how many different instruments/styles are taught at the music school. Voice, Piano, Guitar and Violin are the “busiest” instruments, but there are great instructors for
saxophone, clarinet, flute, brass, bass, viola, etc. etc. I’ve even heard accordion and harmonica lessons over the years. I’m sure I’m leaving out a few, but if you’re looking for music lessons in Asheville and you’re not interested in taking piano lessons from me, be sure to contact The Asheville Music School. On the “busiest” instruments like piano/voice/guitar/violin there are several instructors on each instrument, sometimes covering different styles and Paul tries to find the best fit for each student.

And, there’s no better time to start like the present. Lessons at the Music school run year round and you can start any time. Schedules can vary by instructor, I know of some that plan a break in the summer, but others continue year round.

Thanks….
